What is the onboarding checklist, and why am I seeing it?
A short, interactive checklist in the sidebar that appears after you register. It guides you through the actions that other customers typically take in the first few days and which most often lead to a date. Each step you complete fills the progress bar a little further.
What’s on the checklist?
- Write at least 100 characters in the ‘About me’ section of your profile
- Add an escort to your favourites
- Send a message to an escort
- Send a date request
- Leave a review after the date
The order doesn’t matter. Each item counts as soon as it has been completed. Even if, for example, you later remove a favorite, the step remains completed.
Can I close the checklist?
Yes, at any time. Your progress so far will be saved. If you open it again, you’ll pick up where you left off.
What happens when I complete the checklist?
You’ll receive a notification and a confirmation email. After that, the checklist will disappear and you won’t receive any further notifications.
Why am I receiving onboarding emails?
Because you’ve just registered. These guide you step-by-step through Kaufmich: escorts matching your search filters, what KM$ are, tips for your first message, and more. You’ll receive a maximum of one email per day.
Can I unsubscribe from the onboarding emails?
Yes, you’ll find the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email. This only applies to the onboarding emails, not to messages such as date confirmations, payment receipts, etc.
I’m looking for escorts in my area. What’s the best way to go about it?
Use the search filters (radius, age, gender, services). The onboarding emails will also show you escorts who match your filters. Later emails will also list escorts from outlying areas who are willing to travel.
What are KM$ and do I need them?
KM$ is our platform’s internal currency. Among other things, you can use it to send tips to escorts and thus stand out in their inbox. You don’t need them to browse or write messages; they are purely optional.
I’ve registered, but nothing is happening. What now?
First, complete your profile (the checklist is there to help you) and contact an escort who matches what you’re looking for. If you have any specific issues, send an email to support@kaufmich.com directly from the email address you used to create your profile.
