What is Sian?
Sian is a mobile app developed by a company within the same group as Kaufmich, the Ideawise Group. Kaufmich and Sian are therefore part of the same parent company. The app allows you to read and reply to your Kaufmich messages conveniently on your smartphone.
Why should I download a third-party app to use the Kaufmich Messenger?
You don’t have to download the app. Kaufmich continues to work exactly as it always has. The Sian-app is an optional additional tool that allows you to respond to messages on the go without having to open the website. It is designed to make your daily life easier, not more difficult.
Is it safe to use my Kaufmich login details in another app?
Yes! Sian belongs to the same group of companies as Kaufmich (Ideawise Group). Your login details are transmitted securely and are not shared with third parties. You log in using the same details you use on Kaufmich.
Can Sian see my payment details or personal information?
No! The Sian-app only has access to your messages (sent and received) and the usernames of the people you’re messaging. Payment details, profile data, personal information, or other account details are not accessible to Sian.
Do I have to use the app?
No! The Sian-app is entirely optional. Your Kaufmich account and all features on Kaufmich remain unchanged. If you don’t want to use the app, nothing will change for you.
Will I miss any messages if I don’t use the app?
No! All messages will still be fully available on Kaufmich. The app is an additional channel and not a requirement for receiving or replying to messages.
What is the advantage of using the app?
The app allows you to receive instant notifications on your smartphone when clients message you in existing conversations and to reply directly without having to open the website. This is particularly handy when you’re on the go.
Can I start new conversations using the app?
No! The Sian-app is designed for replying to existing conversations from your inbox. To start new conversations or browse profiles, please continue to use Kaufmich.
Can I see my entire message history in the Sian-app?
Yes! When you log in to the app, you’ll have access to your full message history, and all existing conversations will be visible.
Will I also see new messages in the Sian-app from people who haven’t messaged me before?
The app shows you messages from all conversations in your inbox. This includes both old and new incoming messages.
I have an iPhone. Can I use the Sian-app?
The Sian-app is currently only available for Android devices. An iOS version is in development. We can’t give an exact date yet. We’re working on it and will let you know as soon as the iOS version is available.
Does the app work on my tablet too?
Yes! However, the Sian-app currently works exclusively on Android smartphones and Android tablets.
How do I download the app?
The link to the app is shared in the Escort Forum and sent to escorts via a Community Manager account. The download link can also be found here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.playamedia.sian
Does the app cost anything?
No! The Sian-app is free for all Kaufmich users.
I can’t log in. What should I do?
Make sure you’re using your Kaufmich login details (username or email address and password), the same ones you use to log in to Kaufmich. If the problem persists, please contact Sian-Support directly: support@sian.com
I’ve changed my Kaufmich password and can no longer log in to the app.
When you change your Kaufmich password, you’ll be automatically logged out of the Sian app. Just open the app and log in using your new password. Everything will then work as normal again.
I’m not receiving any notifications. What can I do?
Please check whether notifications for the Sian-app are enabled on your device (Settings – Apps – Sian – Notifications). If the problem persists, please contact: support@sian.com
Can I delete the app if I no longer wish to use it?
Yes! You can delete the app from your device at any time. Your Kaufmich account and all messages on Kaufmich remain completely unaffected.
Can people tell whether I’m replying via the app or the website?
No! It is not possible to tell whether you have replied via the Sian-app or via Kaufmich. The messages appear identical in both inboxes.
